Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled on this website. This is a cookieless site — it sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It uses a cookieless, self-hosted reach measurement tool; see “Reach Measurement” below.

Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted on servers in Germany. When you visit, the server automatically processes technically necessary access data (including your IP address, the requested page, browser type and time of access) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website).

Reach Measurement (Umami, self-hosted)

To statistically evaluate website usage (page views, pages visited, referring pages, approximate country-level origin), we use Umami, a privacy-friendly, data-minimizing web analytics software that we operate ourselves on our own servers in Germany (Hetzner). No data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to form an anonymous, daily-rotating value from which no cross-device or cross-website profiles can be created. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly, data-minimizing reach measurement pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required under German law (§ 25(2) TDDDG); no cookie banner is shown.

Fonts

Web fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are self-hosted and served from this website. No data is sent to Google Fonts or any third-party font CDN.

Vimeo video embed

The demo section embeds a video from Vimeo. The player is loaded in Vimeo's privacy-enhanced mode (Do-Not-Track enabled), so it does not track you for advertising. When the video loads, your browser still connects to Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.), which may receive your IP address and technical data. Seevimeo.com/privacy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (presenting the product).

Ordering by email

The plugin is ordered by email: the “Order by email” buttons open a prefilled message to us in your own mail program. When you send an order or other enquiry, we process the personal data you provide (e.g. name, email address, billing address, VAT ID) to answer your message, complete the order, deliver the download and issue an invoice. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps). Invoice data is retained as required by statutory commercial and tax retention periods (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Imprint.
